Shipping Coverage
Carter Inn currently ships orders to addresses within the United States only (including the 48 contiguous states, Alaska, and Hawaii). We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations at this time.
Processing Time
- All orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment verification.
- Orders placed after our daily cut-off time of 4:00 PM (Eastern Time) will be processed on the next business day.
- Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or U.S. public holidays.
Shipping Options & Costs
We offer the following shipping methods to provide flexibility for our customers:
- Free Standard Shipping: We offer free shipping on all orders across the United States. There are no minimum purchase requirements.
- Standard Shipping: Included by default. Estimated delivery within 3–4 business days after processing.
- Express Shipping: Currently unavailable. We plan to introduce this option soon.
All orders ship via trusted U.S. carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Tracking information will be emailed to you once your package has shipped.
Estimated Delivery Time
- Processing Time: 1–2 business days
- Transit Time: 3–4 business days
- Total Estimated Delivery: 4–6 business days from the order date
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the shipping carrier, destination, or external factors beyond our control (e.g., weather conditions or carrier delays).
Shipping Costs
Carter Inn covers all standard shipping costs. Customers do not pay any additional shipping or handling fees unless an optional expedited service becomes available and is selected at checkout.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email containing the carrier name, tracking number, and link to track your shipment. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become active.
Delay Handling Policy
We work closely with our carriers to ensure timely delivery. However, occasional delays may occur due to factors such as high shipping volumes, severe weather, or carrier network disruptions.
- If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery window, please contact us at support@carterinn.com with your order number.
- Our team will investigate with the carrier and provide updates within 1–2 business days.
- In case of extended delays, we may offer a discount, coupon, or refund as a gesture of goodwill.
Undeliverable or Incorrect Addresses
Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout. Carter Inn is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a package is returned due to an invalid address, additional shipping costs may apply to reship the order.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please notify us immediately. We will open an investigation with the carrier and provide a replacement or refund once the issue is verified.
